She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter "Vern" Schafman and Alice Schafman (Grandadam); her grandmother Alice; and her sisters, Rita Ohlsen, Doris Morral (Ruth Clay), Helen Schmidt, Mary Ellen Schafman and Grace Rielly.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard "Jim" Butz; her siblings, Carol Best, Joyce Geraci of Rockford and Howard; her sister-in-law Imogene Butz of Genoa; her nieces and nephews, Kim Hart (Bill) of Lee, IL, Scot Butz and Jill Nicholson (Curt) of Kingston; and her grandchildren, Jeff, Steve Hart, Emily Nicholson, Ben, Mark Nicholson, Kathryn Swanson, Stacey Krpan and Bryan Butz.
