She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merrel Kern and Rickie Neptune Kern; her children, Stephanie and Justin of Matthew, Mark; her siblings, Jim Kern and Betsy Patterson; her children, Reilly Reynolds (Mike) and John L. Tharp (Debbie); her son-in-law Dwayne Gilfour; her grandchildren, Mike Reynolds (Angie), Stacy Dodson (Bob), Sarah Jaszarowski (Patrick) and Andrea Henderson (Marquise); and her brother Rudolph "R. J.". She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her name.
