She was predeceased by: her father Wilfred Adamson; her siblings, Gean Stanfield and Leonard Adamson; her husband Francis Kopel; and her son Francis'Frank'Kopel II.

She is survived by: her children, Karen Bystrom (Dan), Dr. Edward Kopel (Martina) and Richard Kopel; her daughter-in-law Carolyn Cochran Kopel (Christine Sedlmeier); and her mother Amna Sweeting.
