She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivan Hugh and Esther Gonterman Murphy; her husband Charles Albert Brinkman of Kinderhook, IL.; her sister Aline Mae Bacon; her sons, Douglas Lee of Ames, Matthew Duane (Patti) of Hoffman Estates, Darcy Lynn (Tina) of Mt. Pleasant and Ivan Charles (Debra) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Karissa Foster (Don), Brandon Brinkman (Brynn), Brittney Mensen (Travis), Rachel Quam (Andrew), Jacqueline Brinkman, Alaina Brinkman, Chaley, Tumebo Brinkman, Bailey and Jessi Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Drew, Klay Foster, Kade, Carter Benjamin, Kasin, Harper, Ian Mensen and Brexton Brinkman.
Memorials have been established for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Southeast Iowa; American Cancer Society; and the Danville Library.
