He was predeceased by: his parent Herma Maria Brinkley (Gruber); and his uncle Junior Brinkley. He is survived by: his father Gene Brinkley; his daughter Michelle Casper (David); his grandsons, Dayton Bodine, Jr. and Jaxton Casper; and his siblings, Joe Odum, Jerry Odum, Jimmy Odum, Ronnie Odum, Mike Odum, Kimberly Morgan, Jeannie Kemnitz, Rob Brinkley and Pixie Pyles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Byo Church (2901 E Sangamon Ave, Springfield, IL 62702). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family of Jeff Brinkley to assist with funeral expenses.
