With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Sampson Day Sr. of Kincaid, Illinois, born in Jellico, Tennessee, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kerney Day and Iva Huddleston Day; his siblings, Bobby Day, Mahala Day Hall, Kathleen Day Siler, Imogene Day Dowdell, Mildred Day White and Danny Day; and his daughter Penny Kay Day.
He is survived by: his sister Lucille Day Sullivan (Cornelius) of Rochester, IL; and his children, Jack S. Day Jr. (Kelley) of Springhill, FL, Marsha Day Hobgood (Jerry) of Summertown, TN, Julie Day Twiford (Kevin) of Manteo, NC, Ronda Day Ostermeier (Fred) of Hardinsburg, IN and Douglas Day (Terry) of Bremerton, WA. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
