It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Cushing of Kincaid, Illinois, who passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Genevieve shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Genevieve farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Schmelzer and Lillian Schmelzer (McQuade); and her husband Donald "Dink" Cushing.
