He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Francis and Agnes Leona Rees (Daily); and his brother William "Bill" Rees. He is survived by: his children, Mark Edward Rees of Quincy, IL, Randall Anthony Rees of Quincy, IL, James Russell Rees of Quincy, IL, Dana Elaine Rees Rivies of Quincy, IL and Leslie Suzanne Rees of Quincy, IL; his stepchildren, Harry Davis, Velma Copeland, Aaron Clayton Davis of Effingham, IL and Jimmie Davis of Taylorville, IL; and his siblings, Ronald "Ronnie" Rees, David Rees of Quincy, IL and Judy Thuer. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.
