He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. and Mary Bucshon, Sr. (Schmetski); and his siblings, John Jr., Joseph, Frank, Louie, Bill Bucshon, Mary Takacs and Elizabeth Crovetti.

He is survived by: his wife Letha of Kincaid, IL; his children, Susan Hovey (Lloyd) of Springfield, IL and Robert Bucshon of Kincaid, IL; his grandchildren, Sean Hovey, Erin Schafer (Nick), Morgan Hovey and Andy Graham; and his child Clayton Ave. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
