We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2021, at the age of 93, Maria A. Birkenbach of Kildeer, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Eugen J. Birkenbach; her parents, James Guzzardo and Eleanor Guzzardo; her sister Eleanor Turner; and also Julia Halvey.

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Mark Birkenbach (Palma Ann) and Paul Birkenbach (Marie); her grandchildren, Erika, Victoria, Anna, Adam and Kathryn; and her great grandchildren, Grayson and Cora Perone.
