We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2020, at the age of 88, Josephine Abraham (Kildeer, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Rose (Barranco); and her brother Anthony Joseph Portiera. She is survived by: her close friend Charles; her daughters, Catherine Bland (Louis) and Cynthia (Richard); her great grandchildren, Grayson, Zachary, Jacob, Ava, Carson, Olivia and Arya; her husband Charles; and her siblings, Rose Marie Small (late Kenneth), Joseph Richard Portiera (Rose) and Salvatore Portiera (Jeanette). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to The American Cancer Society, Moody Bible. Institute of Chicago, or a charity close to your heart.
