He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gwendolyn Steif; his parents, Harold Steif and Marie Steif; his children, Russell (Anthony Lujan) and Jodie; his grandchildren, Tyler Steif (Veronica), Dakota Steif (Amanda), Alejandra Cardenas and Felicia Cardenas; his great grandchildren, Stanley and Lilianna Steif; his sister-in-law Rose Ahlgrim; his nephew Daniel Ahlgrim; and his niece Pamela Ahlgrim.
