He is survived by: his wife Verla Marie Simmons (Witherall) of Kilbourne, IL; his mother Crystal Lee Simmons (Auxier) of Jacksonville, IL; his siblings, Kelly Millard (JR) of Mason City, Elizabeth Evans of Lincoln, IL, Christina Buffington (Ryan) of Decatur and Nathan Evans (Jessica) of Lincoln, IL; his children, Dakota Simmons and Jessica Lynn Simmons (David); his grandchildren, Jude Coers, Xavier Logan, Liam Coers, Ziva Coers and Caroline Coers; his daughters, Breanna Boatman (Brayden) and Beverly Hopping (Astories); his grandchildren, Dominic Witherall, Ciera Witherall, Eric Sheppard and Tristan Sheppard; his daughter Sarah Hopping (Jake) of Kilbourne; his grandchildren, Zaqoyia Hopping, Elizabeth Ann Michelle Hopping and Zakiah Hopping; his son Travis Hopping of Kilbourne, IL; his pet Rocky; his aunts, Peggy Jo Pottorf of Mason City, Pamala Jan Auxier of Jacksonville, IL and Sarah Kay Richard of Mason City; and also, Chevy and Maya.
