He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. and Francis James Sr. (Taft); his wife Elizabeth Best; and his sister Dorothy Jones. He is survived by: his sons, Robert James (Vicki) of Kilbourne, Mike James of Petersburg and John James of Eustis, Florida; and his sister Marge Wanless of Springfield, Illinois.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
