He was predeceased by: his father Eugene S. Gilmore; his son Richard Gilmore; and his siblings, Linda Gilmore and Danny Gilmore. He is survived by: his mother Doris Holmes (VanDyke) of Kilbourne; his wife Kay Gilmore of Kilbourne; his children, Chad Gilmore of Forest City and Deanna Gilmore of North Carolina; and his siblings, Keith Gilmore, Kenneth Gilmore, John Gilmore, Darrin Gilmore, Janice Stum, Geri Ellsworth, Diane Decker and Gina Watkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
