Bertha M. Hughes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha M. Hughes of Kilbourne, Illinois, born in Oakford, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gideon and Alice Witherell (Boehn); her husband Lloyd Hughes; her siblings, Wayne Bob Witherell, Rose Shultz and Margie Otto; her sons, Russell Hughes and Robert Hughes; and her grandson Larry Hughes.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Wayne Hughes (Karen) of Mt. Carmel, Faye Hughes of Bath, Trina Pratt (Charles) of Kilbourne, Lenny Hughes (Angel) of Snicarte, Janice Stephens (Paul) of Havana and Lloyd Hughes (Melody) of Havana; and her siblings, Melvin Witherell (Sarah), Donald Witherell (Alice), Emma Smith, Mary Dick (Larry) and Ethel Hill. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
