It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William P. Merritt of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Merritt and Dorothy Merritt (Mercer); and his son Mark. He is survived by: his children, Bill and Laura; and his sister Janean. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
