He is survived by: his children, Lea West (Kent) and Matt Hier (Debbie); his son-in-law Mick Verschage; his grandchildren, Dan Verschage (Andrea), Andra Revak (Ryan), Alexandra Haefele (Ben), Jake Hier, Rachel Seidel (Andy), Megan Hier and Lucas Hier (Samantha); his great grandchild Kyler Smith (Liz); his grandchildren, Ayla, Braden, Bryan Revak, Steven Verschage, Eliot, Owen Haefele, Addison, Jack Hier and Isla Seidel; and his sister Norma Emmerson.
