It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna J. Briggs of Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Vernon and Jessie Tuthill (Hegwood); her former spouse Dale Tessier; and her sisters, Virginia, Velma, Juanita and Margie.
She is survived by: her spouse Terry Briggs; her children, Cindy "Joie" Kubinsky (John) of Wichita, KS and Tony Tessier (LeeAnn) of Kewanee; her grandchildren, Stephen, A. J. and Trey; her great grandchildren, Ryuki, Noellie and Azrael; and her brothers, Vernon "Butch", Ivan Sr. and Les. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
