He is survived by: his mother Patricia Henson (Norton); his siblings, Jon Smith (Brenda Newman) of Kewanee, David Smith of Norfolk, VA, Lauri Mueller (Dave) of Neponset and Lisa Smith of Neponset; his nephews, Christopher Smith (Nicole) of Galva, Eric Smith of Rock Island and David Mueller (Lindsey) of Geneseo; and his niece Mandy Donovan (Chris) of Neponset.
