He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil W. and Genevieve L. (Hardt); his brother James Newman; his brother-in-law Rich Dana, Sr.; and his nephews, Jim "Jimmy" Newman and Jim O'Rourke.
He is survived by: his wife Frances M. Charlet; his siblings, Shirley Dana and Jerry Newman (Pat); his sister-in-law Jeanne Newman; and his nieces and nephews, Rich, Jr. Dana (Holly), Susan Dana, Steve Newman (Dawn), Joe Newman (Teryan), Josh Newman, Andy Newman (Molly), Kim O'Rourke and Cheryl Newman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
