He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Maurice Van Waes (Sophia) and Kenneth Findley (Stephanie). He is survived by: his parents, Ronald Waes and Kendra Van Waes (Findley); his sons, Sean Michael Van Waes (Kelly) of Clearwater, FL, Austin Van Waes (Katie) of Billings, MT and Nic Van Waes (Brittney) of Pontiac, IL; his siblings, Jay Van Waes of Kewanee, Kelle Sandy (Mathew) of Lafayette, IN and Kymberly Light (Matthew) of Plainfield, IN; and his pet TJ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.
