It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra J. Murphy (Kewanee, Illinois), born in Beloit, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zickert and Lucille Zickert (Hayes); her husband Patrick J "Pat" Murphy; her son Brian; her brother Joe Zickert; and her siblings-in-law, George Poulos, Peggy Lehr and Ken Lehr.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Vandendooren (Kevin), Joe Murphy (Lori) and Michele Schintler (Phil); her grandchildren, Zac Vandendooren (Amanda), Tyler Vandendooren (Abbey), Barry Schintler, Heath Schintler and Kaitlin Keeran (Michael); her great grandchildren, Adalee Shepard, Kinsley, Brynlee, Callen, Blake Vandendooren, Maddux Keeran and Baby Boy Keeran; her siblings, Patsy Carlson, Colleen Poulos, Don Zickert (Ginger) and Bernie Zickert (Rainy); her sister-in-law Barbara Zickert; and also Jennifer Woods.
Memorials may be directed to Saint John Paul II Parish or to the Alzheimer's Association.
