It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca I. Ptashnik of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on September 10, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Janey and Mary Frances Janey (Paine); her brother Tim Janey; her niece Tracy Janey; her nephew Rick Janey; her great-nephew Coby Lemon; and also Bentley Lemon.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Lamb (David) of Ft. Worth, TX, Adam Ptashnik of Kewanee and Apryl Ptashnik of Kewanee; her grandchildren, Madilynne, Witten, Kennedy, Fallon and Oscar; and her siblings, Gary Janey (Lisa) of Kewanee, Donna Youngfeldt (Jack) of Silvis and Rick Janey of Kewanee. She is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews, twenty-five great nieces and nephews and thirteen great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Rebecca Ptashnik Memorial Fund for a memorial to be established.
