Schmelzer of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren T. Krehbiel and Barbara M. Krehbiel (McCann); her siblings, Kate Brophy (John) and Mike Krehbiel; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Schmelzer and Ardis Schmelzer.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Schmelzer (Samanta), Davenport, Matthew Schmelzer, Mollie Schmelzer, Bettendorf, Kevin Schmelzer (Cayte) and Des Moines; her granddaughters, Sabrina and Miranda; her siblings, Dan Krehbiel (Nancy), Black, Pat Price (Vince) of West End, NC, Terry Krehbiel (Marie) and Ann Jones (Miles) of Hope Mills, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Randy Smith (Cheryl) of Center Point, IA and Lilian Krehbiel of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.
