She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Freeburg and Helen Freeburg (Bremmer); her grandparents, George and Ethel Bremmer; her brother Bob Freeburg; and her brother-in-law Rolf Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Greenhagen (Douglas) of Kewanee, Carol Austin of Valparaiso, IN and Christina Thurwanger (Michael) of Eureka; her grandchildren, Jennifer Oldham, Joshua King, Kelly Greenhagen, Rebecca Thurwanger, Andrew Greenhagen, Ruth Cody and Hannah Morrissey; her great grandchildren, Riley, Ella, Mary, Jude, Gus, Max, Evie, Gideon, Adam and Annabelle; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Eleanor, Bryson, Connor and Aiden; her sister Elaine Anderson of Galva; and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Kelly of Bettendorf, IA..
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Evangelical Church or to the Henry County Senior Citizens Center.
