She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Bruggeman and Ethel Bruggeman (Liehti); her daughter Vicki Lynn Schmitt; and her brothers, Larry Bruggeman and Merle Bruggeman.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Shank (Kathleen) of San Jose, CA and Kim Anderson (Doug) of White City, KS; her son-in-law Mark Schmitt of Milwaukee, WI; her grandchildren, Laura Sandeep Poonen of Los Altos, CA, Colleen Shank of Portland, OR, Kari Wagner (Chip) of Olathe, KS, Diana Zumbrunn (Alan) of Junction City, KS, Daniel Shank (Yesenia) of San Jose, CA, Matthew Kaiser (Annie) of Neponset, IL, Alex Anderson of Manhattan, KS, Bradley Christman (Ashley) of Eudora, KS and Ryan Christman (Lauren) of Denver, CO; and her sister Ruth Campbell of Fort Dodge, IA.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
