He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lucille Swearingen and William Henry Swearingen; and his uncles, Ronald Cantwell, Harold Swearingen and Robert McLean.
He is survived by: his parents, Thomas E. Swearingen and Brenda Kay Swearingen (Cantwell); his spouse Casandra Lynn Pegram; his children, Emmelyn and Ezra; his siblings, Damien Swearingen of Peoria and Crystal Sovanski (Adam) of Kewanee; and his grandparents, Howard and Mabel Cantwell of Kewanee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rux Funeral Homes (507 S Chestnut St, Kewanee, IL 61443). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family to assist in the care of his children.
