He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Lloyd Carpenter and Violet Carpenter (Spencer); and his in-law Carlos DeLathouwer (Edna). He is survived by: his wife Carol (DeLathouwer); his daughters, Mary Gabrielson (Matt) of Lee's Summit, MO and Cathy Mowbray (Hal) of Kewanee; his grandchildren, Megan Johnson (Corey) of Provo, UT and Seth Mowbray of East Moline, IL; and his siblings, Jeanette VanDusen Sutton (Dale) and Lyle Carpenter (Marilyn).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions directed to the Wethersfield High School Carpentry class or to Beacon of Hope Hospice would be appreciated.
