In loving memory of John R. Hand Sr. (Kewanee, Illinois), who departed this world on September 22, 2024 at the age of 74. John leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Sr. and Catherine June Hand (Crockett); his siblings, Rebecca Vigor and Joseph Hand, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Webber and Mike Webber.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Milnes (Mitch) of Tampico, IL and John Hand, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sydney Hand, Chase Milnes (Daniella Chino), Ben Hand and Drew Milnes; his great grandchild Katarina Chino-Milnes; his pets, Tinker and Missy; his siblings-in-law, Kent Vigor and Janet Hand of Peoria; and also, James Hand (Margaret) of Osceola and Janet Ingle (Richard) of Oneida.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bunker Hill Church (322 School St, Buda, IL 61314). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
