He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Sr. and Catherine June Hand (Crockett); his siblings, Rebecca Vigor and Joseph Hand, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Webber and Mike Webber.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Milnes (Mitch) of Tampico, IL and John Hand, Jr. (Lisa); his grandchildren, Sydney Hand, Chase Milnes (Daniella Chino), Ben Hand and Drew Milnes; his great grandchild Katarina Chino-Milnes; his pets, Tinker and Missy; his siblings-in-law, Kent Vigor and Janet Hand of Peoria; and also, James Hand (Margaret) of Osceola and Janet Ingle (Richard) of Oneida.
Memorials may be made to Bunker Hill Church, Buda.
