She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Holz and Olive Holz (Jones); her son Daniel "Danny" Van Stechelman; her sister Sandy; and her nephews, Jimmy Dunn and Steve Rule.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Van Stechelman-Hand (Jim Hartman) of Galva, Jackie Culverhouse of Waco, TX, Amber Brock of Kewanee, Angie Bodine (Mike) of Kewanee, Eric Olson of Sheffield and Inger Olson; her son-in-law Donnie Brock of Galva; her grandchildren, Brandi, Cristina of Holly, TJ, Dustin, Logan, Shady, Makayla, Anabel, Danny and Gabby; her great grandchildren, Miranda, Damien, Jacob, Drake Hartman, Reilly, Victoria, Emily, Kaden, Alivia, Anastasia, Aurora and Roman; her great great grandchild Lucas; and her sisters, Peggy Bevans of Kewanee and Donna Wexell of Kewanee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joni's wishes were to be cremated; so at this time, due to the weather and the COVID-19 pandemic her children have decided to wait until spring to have a Celebration of Life in their mom's honor.
