He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald O. Emery and Jessie M. Emery (Carroll); his wife Mary Ellen Baumgardner; his sisters, Bernadine Emery Behm and Sharon Kay Emery; and his nephew Gary Behm.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan "Susie" Emery; his brother Donald Emery (Beverly) of Blue Springs, MO; his nieces, Brenda Fogel-Behm (Danny) of Grand Rapids, MI and Kathleen Remington (Stan); and his nephew Ronald Emery of Denver, CO.
