With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Etta Mae Thompson of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Brownsville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Howell and Georgetta Howell (Hawkins); her stepmother Alma Howell; her sons, Mark and Ricky Thompson; and her siblings, Ollie Howell, Sr., Horace Howell, Jr., Curt Davis, James Davis, Julia Bronson, Otelia Jordan, Louise Conner, Finis Howell and Rosalee Pugh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Will Davis of Kewanee and Erma Jean Harris of Chicago; and her son Maurice. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
