It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Coné of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Raywick, Kentucky, who passed away on October 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mattingly and Mary Margaret "Margie" Mattingly (Fowler); her son David; her grandson Jason Swift; and her siblings, Ruth, John, Paul "Fred" and Alton.
She is survived by: her husband Leo Coné; her children, Timothy Coné (Nikki) of Galva, Robert Coné of Kewanee, Jay Coné (Shannon Webster) of Kewanee, Paul Coné (Misty) of Houston, TX, Marcia Coné of East Greenwich, RI and Pamela Dynes (Brett) of Kewanee; and her brother Dr. William "Bill" Mattingly (Victoria) of Oglesby. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
