He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip A. Clong and Amelia M. Clong (Wysowski). He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Clong (Kayla), Matthew Clong (Jill) and Peter (Wendy); and his sister Rosanne Anderson (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and one great niece.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
