It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Gorden Sr. of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Geneseo, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Gorden and Lucille Gorden (Larimer); his wife Linda R. Anderson; his son Dustin; his grandson Christian; his great great grandchild Landyn; and his sisters, Patty, Betty and Lynn.
He is survived by: his children, Tamara "Tammy" Stoner (Tony) of Kewanee, Marcia Hartman (Bill Bradley) of Las Vegas, NV, Robin Williams (Larry Derr) of Kewanee, Michelle Phelps of Kewanee, Donald Gorden Jr. of Kewanee, Dawn Pruitt (Chris) of Kewanee, Deanna Young of Kewanee and Brandon Gorden (Tiffany) of Peoria; and his siblings, Richard, Arlan, Robert and Alice Ann. He is also survived by three grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
