He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald F. VanMeir and Genevieve E. VanMeir (Croegaert); and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his daughters, Shelene Lee (Bik) of Lehi, UT, Colene Verdick (Dan) of Elk River, MN and Melissa Winn (Garth) of Cedar City, UT; and his siblings, Jim VanMeir (Rita) of Galva, Carol Rodseth (Brad) of Minonk, IL, Beverly Warnken of Kewanee, Teresa Haradon of Kewanee, Mary Shreck (Terry) of Kewanee, Sharon VanMeir of Kewanee and Christy Mata of Kewanee. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
