He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer G. Murphy and Mable L. Murphy (Ensley); his wife Judy Rosebecke; his grandsons, Randy and Brian Lambert; and his siblings, Patricia, Sheila Schwigen, Sandy Wright, William, Randall and Mike.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gary, Dennis (Darlene), Dawn Peed (Donnie) and Donna Schwigen; his daughter Roxanne Morgan (Jack); his grandchildren, Steven Lambert and Kristina Hammond; his great grandchildren, Randy, Jack, Myranda, Ryan, Drew, Dylan, Matthew, Amelia and Ariya; and his pet Angel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Henry County Humane Society, Kewanee.
