It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christie Morrissey of Kewanee, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Christie Morrissey to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Swan and Donna Swan (Puskar); her brother Jeff; and her grandson Cade. She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. "Ron" Morrissey; her children, Melissa Short (Wes) of Kewanee, James Morrissey of Kewanee and Nicole "Nikki" Morrissey (Mike Haxby) of Colona; her grandchildren, Sara, Jenna Short, Blake Lippens, Devin and Kaleb Haxby; and her great grandchild Nevaeh Haxby.
