He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie L. Beam and Joda Beam (Benfield); his siblings, Robert Beam, Peggy Luffman and Patricia Beam; his great grandchild Alivia; and his brother-in-law Michael Jacobson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby L. Wynn; his children, Angela Werderman (John, Sr.), David (Sherry), Roy "Buck" Carpenter (Heather) of Kewanee, D. J. and Linda Yelm (Nick); his great great grandchild Hazel; and his sister Betty Gish (Robert). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established.
