He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Gladys Bernadette Pigoni Weinzierl, Jr.; and his brother Michael Joseph Weinzierl. He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Pavlock Weinzierl; his children, Mary H. Roeser (David), Katy Stahlman (Tim), Sarah Wilkins (Matt) and Lance Young (Amanda); his stepdaughter Kelly Benamati; his sister-in-law Susan Weinzierl; and his grandchildren, Lauren Benamati, Jaelynn Ducote, Reed Benamati, Rebekah Wilkins, Timothy Stahlman, Gabriel Wilkins, Michael Stahlman, Gracelynn Young, Lance Bennett Young and Gage Roeser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1022 Liberty Street, Erie, PA 16502 or to the charity of one's choice.
