He is survived by: his parents, John Rist and Terry Rist (Sauer); his wife Amber Raska; his children, Jacquel Rasmussen (Austin) of Kewanee, Jewel Calef of Kewanee, Noah Sauer of Kewanee, Alexis Sauer of Kewanee, Brian Sauer, Jr. of Kewanee, Peyton Sauer of Kewanee and Aiden Sauer of Kewanee; his grandchildren, Skyelynn Rasmussen and Bentley Green; his sister Jessica Petty (Kevin); his mother-in-law Sandi Esterly (Rick); his siblings-in-law, Dustin Bowman, Jimmy Raska (Nicole) and Jamie Painter (Troy); and his aunts and uncles, Tracy Blanks (Michael), Larry (Heidi), Laman Sauer (Shelli) and Jeff Rist (Dorothy Roe). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for his children.
