He was predeceased by: his mother Janet Horack (Noder); his stepson Michael Chizmar; and his stepgrandson Chance. He is survived by: his father Steven Horack; his spouse Kari Wood; his children, Will Horack (Anisley) of Davenport, IA and Megan Horack of Kewanee; his granddaughter Amelia Rose Horack; his stepchildren, Heather Holtschult, Kaitlin Chizmar and Lindsei Chizmar; his siblings, Eric Horack of Peoria, Greg Horack of Chillicothe and Jill Walsh of Bradford; and his cousins, Jimmy Harmon and Geoffrey Horack. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family for a memorial to be established.

“I am in complete shock to learn of Brad's passing. I will always remember meeting Brad while living in the apartment next to him on Wilsey Court in Kewanee and pretty much moving around Kewanee for several years, never more than a few blocks away from each other. He was always a good friend and an excellent father to Willy and Megan. We will always share our love for the movie Tombstone. My sincerest condolences, prayers for strength in this difficult time and love go out to the family.”
