He is survived by: his mother Frances Strand Sr. (Mahaffey); his brothers, Timothy Strand of Port Byron, Benjamin Strand (Marcy) of Bishop Hill, Shawn Strand (Cassie) of Kewanee, Christopher Strand of Kewanee and Joshua Strand; his fiancée Abby of Kewanee; his sister Danielle Valencia of Kewanee; his stepdaughter Kimberlee Jones; and his stepgrandsons, Adam Scott and Uri Morales. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
