He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Johnson and Henrietta Johnson (Lussmyer); his former wives, Carol Emo and Kathy Keim; his son Aaron Johnson; and his siblings, Edward Johnson, Anne Starr and Judy Paceley.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Johnson of Kewanee; his children, Chad Johnson (Megan) of Cambridge, Eric Johnson (Holly) of Atkinson, Christine Glogowski (Bob) of Rockford, Seth Rogers of Rockford, Deanna Gibbs (Jeff) of Tiskilwa and Steven Dormand of Maryland; and his brother Neil Johnson of Lyndon. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
