With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Golby (Kewanee, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Simons and Katherine Simons (Noonen) of Princeville; and her parents-in-law, John and Elizabeth Golby (Larkin). She is survived by: her husband James L. Golby; her children, Katherine Stewart (Eric) of Dwight, IL, Margaret Gustafson (Craig) of Kewanee, IL, Dr. Angela Golby of Morton, IL and Dr. James T. Golby (Kristen) of Austin, TX.; her grandchildren, Sarah Burd (Jacob), Ethan Stewart, Melissa Stewart, Matthew Gustafson, Alison Gustafson (Connor McDonald), Elizabeth Gustafson, Kathleen Golby, Madeline Golby, John David Golby, Luke Golby and Peter Golby; and also Sadie Ann Burd.
Memorials may be directed to the Kewanee Schools Foundation and the Henry County 4-H Foundation.
