It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl William Rau of Kenney, Illinois, born in Macon, Illinois, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linn O. Rau and Mabel Rau (Issac); and his siblings, Charlotte Holloway, Helen Heyne, Mildred Clark, Mary Lou Mills and John Rau.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Wurth; his daughters, Lisa Leach (Richard) of Decatur, IL and Tamara "Tammy" Westen (Clarke) of Kenney, IL; his grandchildren, Timothy Leach (Ingrid), Brittany Peters (John), Brandy Vanderberg (Anthony) and Sarah Leach; and his great grandchildren, Peyton Peters, Elsie Leach, Matilda Leach and Penelope Vanderberg.
Memorials may be made in Earl's name to St. John's Lutheran Church of Decatur, IL or the Kenney Fire Department in Kenney, IL.
