She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vernon B Thomas, Jr.; her children, Dr. Margaret "Meg" Thomas Kahdeman (Tyler) and Brian Thomas (Cathy); and her grandchildren, Talia, Coltin Thomas, Nancy, Lucy and Thomas Kahdeman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donnellan Family Funeral Home (10045 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL 60077). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saints Faith, Hope & Charity Church (191 Linden St, Winnetka, IL 60093). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
In Lieu of flowers, we request donations to organizations that were important and formative in her life: The Nancy Bausch Thomas scholarship at the University of Michigan, the Margaret Dieterle Bausch scholarship at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Catholic Charities, or the Alzheimer's Association.
