It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Belle Leffler of Kell, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Fred Bain; her husband Charles William Leffler; and her grandson Michael Wright. She is survived by: her children, Norman "Gene" Leffler of Benton, William "Bill" Leffler (Shari) of Mount Vernon, Ray Allen Leffler of Mount Vernon and Connie S. Hicks (Willis) of Dix, Illinois; her grandchildren, Crystal "Crissy" Hocking (Michael) of Kell, Katlin Rivera (Dakota) of Mount Vernon, Nichole Moore of West Frankfort, Kylie Leffler of Centralia, Stephanie Leffler of Brunswick, Georgia, John Leffler Jeff Leffler of Mount Vernon and Michael Leffler of Mount Vernon; and her siblings, Hugh "Tuti" Bain of Rotunda West, Florida and Ueldean Cralley of Centralia. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spero Family Services or Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Iuka, Illinois.
