With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freeman Shoemaker of Keithsburg, Illinois, born in New Boston, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Shoemaker and Helen Howard Shoemaker; his wife Mary Arlene Sweet; his children, Carmie Shoemaker House, Gerry Brock and Kevin Abbott; his granddaughter Amanda Abbott; and his siblings, William "Boot" Shoemaker, Benjamin Shoemaker and Tina Byrd.
He is survived by: his son Freemie Shoemaker; his grandchildren, Randy Goodrick, Heather Roberts, Zac Brock, Jade Grawet, Seth House, Freemie Shoemaker, Hallie Shoemaker, Brandon Abbott and Kelli Abbott; and his siblings, Rick Shoemaker (Donna), Tim Shoemaker (Becky), Barb Gaylor, Jeanie Briles, Vickie Crisel (Terry) and Jeri Sargeant. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
